Boys/Girls Track and Field

​

Although when most people think of Track & Field they think of just sprinting, it is so much more than that. Track & Field is a spring semester sport that includes a number of athletic events that evaluate your skills in running, jumping, and throwing. There are long distance runs that take endurance, short sprints that take speed, and throwing events that take technique and strength. To do well in Track & Field you will need to combine physical ability and practice. Unlike Cross Country, most events are individual however, there are some events, like relay races that involve a team.
