D.I.I.C.E

D.I.I.C.E is a club representing Chicano/LatinX/Hispanic youth, roots and culture. This club was created and developed in place for M.E.Ch.A, which was a Chicano organization. It was decided that students of LatinX/Hispanic/ChicanX descent deserved, wanted and needed a more inclusive club to represent them as individuals. The acronym “D.I.I.C.E” stands for “Discover our roots. Issues in our culture. Inclusivity. Cultural recognition. Empowerment.” This club works to represent students of said roots, inclusively, in order to inform as many other students (of any race or ethnicity) about the importance of these cultures. We work to empower the youth within them as well.
