Yearbook

As Yearbook staff members, our job is not merely just taking pictures and putting them on a page. We capture moments in people’s lives, and we document them. We then package those memories in a book that grows in value as we grow in age.

Overall, we do write stories, interview students, and design pages to present a finely polished product. However, during all the long hours that we put into creating the yearbook, we experience the opportunity to form everlasting bonds with each other. These bonds transform our friendships into the family that is Yearbook.

We discuss, debate, and steer our way to a conclusion when making each and every page. The Yearbook staff members give a lot of consideration and thought on how to present the book. Our team takes every critique given to us, and we use it to make this book something we’re proud to have created.

Each Yearbook staff member works tirelessly behind the scenes on and off campus to document all the wonderful (and not so wonderful) memories that occur here at DMHS and also in our Los Angeles community. We’re there documenting moments at the right time, be it a spike from our volleyball team, a performance during Eclectic, or a laugh shared between friends. We’re always there capturing the precious moments that make our high school experience all that it is.
